Стажировки и практика в программе обучения "Tourism and Travel Management"

The curriculum provides for a compulsory practical phase in the fourth semester. It consists of an internship with a duration of at least 20 weeks full-time, to be completed either at home or abroad in a company, an association or another institution in the tourism or transport sector or related sectors. The internship is intended to enable students to apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired up to that point in practice and to expand them in addition to their academic training.

It is possible to write the bachelor thesis (final thesis) on a practical topic. However, this option depends on the willingness of the companies to cooperate.

Учебный план программы обучения "Tourism and Travel Management"

The structure of the Bachelor's degree is characterized by a gradual transition from general to specific:

  • At the beginning of the course, the basic subjects of general business administration (e.g. marketing, cost accounting, accounting) and complementary sciences (e.g. mathematics, statistics, economics, travel law) dominate.
  • Foreign language and intercultural teaching content as well as the basics of tourism accompany the development of the core business studies.
  • Only from the second semester onwards, the special business administration courses in tourism and transport are taught, which are based on the basic course content.
  • The use of seminar-like forms of instruction from the 5th semester onwards enables students to apply and critically question the methodological skills they have acquired up to that point.

The bachelor's degree is structured modularly, consisting of individual subjects that are coordinated in terms of content and time and form a self-contained, testable study unit with credit points. Each module is usually completed with a module examination. The course is successfully completed when all module exams have been passed.

The individual subjects and modules are provided with credit points (CP for short). These are credit units that are acquired in university education through certificates of achievement. They are intended to ensure that the performance of students at universities in the European Higher Education Area is comparable.

The modules consist of compulsory subjects and elective subjects. Compulsory subjects are subjects in which all students have to take an examination. Alternatively, compulsory elective subjects are offered in subject catalogs, from which the students must select examination subjects to a specified extent.

The scope of the bachelor's degree is 180 credit points (CP) in the six-semester variant and 210 credit points (CP) in the seven-semester variant, which are made up of credit points for

  • Compulsory subjects
  • Elective courses
  • Internship
  • Bachelor thesis
  • Semester abroad and preparatory seminar abroad (only in the seven-semester variant).
