In 1971, business informatics was born in Furtwangen. We offer the bachelor's programs in business informatics and business networks eBusiness, as well as the two master's programs in business application architectures and business consulting. This shows that we always want to stay at the forefront of development. We always keep our study plans up to date, the courses we have started will be fully expanded and remain trend-setting.

Communication

Right from the start, our course content is practical and not just theoretical. You learn in dialogue with each other and in small groups with the professors. Our students spend half of their studies in close contact with company situations: internships, workshops, project studies, practical study semesters, thesis work and side work. The maximum semester size is 45 students.

Core competencies

Our core competencies lie in the areas of logistics, eBusiness, controlling, software development of business applications, construction of high-performance information systems, networks, teamwork and moderation. Our graduates achieve top positions. In surveys among our graduates, we continue to get a good assessment of the breadth, timeliness and completeness of the lecture material.

Our applicants come from over 20 nations. We look forward to our students taking the opportunity to study at one of the many partner universities abroad. We enable every student to spend a semester abroad. 10% of our lectures are held in English. Our degrees are recognized internationally.
