Our civil engineering department is one of the oldest departments at Aachen University of Applied Sciences. Emerging from a traditional engineering school, it has been providing successful, value-oriented training for more than 100 years.

It offers scientifically sound and practical training in three future-oriented bachelor's degree programs:

• Civil Engineering (B.Eng.)
• Wood Engineering (B.Eng.)
• Smart Building Engineering (B.Eng.)

Our students are supported by almost 30 professors who, in addition to their academic qualifications, are distinguished primarily by their practical experience. They are supported by numerous employees and external lecturers.

We offer the following master's degree programs after successfully completing your bachelor's degree:

• Civil Engineering (M.Eng.)
• Facility Management (M.Eng.)

Our department not only maintains a wide range of contacts and collaborations with companies in the construction industry and the construction trade, with regional engineering offices, professional associations and other service companies, but also with national and international partner universities. This close exchange with external partners is reflected in a practice-oriented range of courses that is constantly adapted to new findings.

We maintain a family atmosphere in which students, teachers and department employees like to meet and communicate openly.
