Brandenburg University of Technology

The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Energy Systems combines the potential of the development of highly efficient drives, designs and materials with the optimisation of processes in production and value creation. The research in the field of low-emission aircraft engines and lightweight solutions with fibre-reinforced composites and topics such as the prototype testing, simulations, surface coatings, quality assurance and factory planning systems are related to each other. In the field of energy technology and energy systems, the focus is on the challenges of the energy system transformation with regard to the conversion, storage and distribution of electricity, gas and heat. The electrical systems consider the process-oriented development of measurement, control and drive systems.
