Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt
Fakultät Architektur und Bauingenieurwesen (Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaften Würzburg-Schweinfurt)
University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt
The faculty offers two bachelor's programs in architecture and civil engineering. The consecutive master's program in integral planning and construction is open to graduates of both fields of study. The training in the bachelor's degree courses provides a solid foundation for the increasingly complex requirements of the increasingly global construction tasks and creates a comprehensive overview of the most diverse aspects of the respective professions.
The different disciplines under one faculty offer students the opportunity to get a more comprehensive picture in exchange and to look outside the box without problems. The faculty's international network supports this aspect.
In Würzburg, a city with almost 3000 years of history, the center of Lower Franconia, we combine the local with the global and train architects, civil engineers who are up to the high demands in order to make an active contribution to future developments. A wide variety of events and excursions complement the courses on offer and offer a diverse and attractive environment to prepare for upcoming tasks at the highest level.
More details about Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering:
Competence and experience
The integrated faculty FAB with the two classic courses of study "architecture" and "civil engineering" (each as a bachelor's degree) has been offering solid university education for decades and thus a stable foundation for future professional prospects.
Qualification and innovation
As part of the two master's programs "Integral Planning and Building" (consecutive) and Building Management (further education), we offer the entire spectrum of content and qualifications to meet current and future requirements in the fields of architecture, construction and real estate. Ecological, social and economic aspects are considered and communicated integratively and across phases in the overall cycle.
Local and global
At the Würzburg location, the center of Lower Franconia, a city with almost three thousand years of history, we combine local expertise with global requirements in order to make our built environment worth living for today and for the next generations.
A and B
We seized the opportunity to teach a wide range of specialist know-how in theory and practice in an interdisciplinary manner under one roof of the FAB faculty. The growing complexity and dynamics of future construction tasks is only feasible with qualified architects and civil engineers.
