Faculty of Civil Engineering Bauhaus-Universität Weimar
Fakultät Bauingenieurwesen (Bauhaus-Universität Weimar)
More details about Faculty of Civil Engineering:
The Faculty of Civil Engineering looks back on six decades of well-founded and renowned engineering training. Triggered by current structural changes in the economy, the education and research profile of the faculty has been significantly expanded and adapted to new requirements, based on a complex structure of the faculty that is unique in Germany.
The traditional course of study in civil engineering was structurally new and compatible with international courses. The additionally introduced courses in Management (Construction Real Estate Infrastructure) and Civil Engineering [Construction Environment Building Materials] follow this development by consistently expanding the training fields of civil engineering with interface skills to other specialist areas.
The course in building materials engineering (previously materials science) offers a wide range of material-oriented engineering training with the latest training technology.
The faculty can enroll over 300 new students every year and is also able to provide a wide range of scientific services for research and development as well as services for business. Almost 1,500 students are currently enrolled at the faculty.
