Ulm University of Applied Sciences
Computer science is considered a key technology in our society. Even if the World Wide Web is not yet 30 and Facebook is still a teenager, a world without Amazon, google and what they are all called is hardly imaginable. And the global corporation Daimler, with more than 130 years of tradition in car manufacturing, is promoting the new A-Class as an iPhone on wheels. No matter where we look, IT and its products have become part of our living environment. Computer science enables completely new business models, products and services. It is the engine of innovation.
