The Faculty of Computer Science currently offers five Bachelor's and two Master's degrees.

The new Computational Life Sciences course will begin in the 2020/21 winter semester. This course of study teaches the basics of computer science, health care, human biology and health economics. The focus is on people and their health.

The digital future is shaped by computer science. All areas of life and work are undergoing a digital change that is shaped by rapidly growing amounts of information, global networking, ubiquitous information processing, machine learning, artificial intelligence and data security.

Digital competence is a key factor for a prosperous life in the 21st century. Our regularly updated study programs at Bachelor and Master level convey this competence.

The faculty is currently made up of 23 professors, a teacher for special tasks, specialized lecturers, research assistants and laboratory engineers in state-of-the-art laboratories, speakers and numerous student tutors and assistants. Together we look after almost 1000 students.

The competence and commitment of this entire team is geared towards excellent quality in application-oriented teaching at bachelor and master level, in cooperative doctoral studies, in applied research, in cooperation with companies from all industries and with international partner universities, as well as in supporting those who are part-time To offer continuing education. The essential link of all activities is the fascination and enthusiasm for the technologies of the future based on the possibilities of today.
