The tasks for young professionals are becoming more and more complex with increasing demands on the breadth of specialist knowledge. At the same time, a sustainable and responsible design of our society is gaining in importance in an increasingly digitally influenced working world. At the Faculty for Information Management and Media, which was founded in 2012, 25 professors from different disciplines teach and research who focus on conveying situation and person-related recording of information, its processing and efficient dissemination.

The students are continuously given the opportunity to accompany and help shape this process, which is constantly in flux. In interesting, lively, theory- and practice-oriented courses, our students are given the expertise they need to be able to competently and successfully meet the complex challenges in their later professional life. The faculty has a number of well-equipped pool rooms and laboratories so that students can actively work and experiment with the latest software and current technical innovations.
