The Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies is the youngest faculty at the Landshut University of Applied Sciences and was founded on March 15, 2016. Various competencies are bundled and networked under the umbrella of the Faculty for Interdisciplinary Studies, thus supporting an interdisciplinary transfer of knowledge. In both research and teaching, interdisciplinary approaches to analyzing and coping with societal challenges are sought, so that the basis for innovative and holistic developments is created here.

In addition to the two interdisciplinary courses in "Sign Language Interpreting" and "Engineering Education", the faculty also offers interdisciplinary courses in General Studies and Languages The different disciplinary approaches generate new learning impulses, making high-quality teaching and continuous further development of the range of courses in this sense the top priority.
