The Faculty of Law at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University, with currently 34 professorships and 4,089 students, is one of the larger legal faculties in Germany. The Frankfurt legal training is characterized within the framework of the requirements of the Hessian Legal Training Act by the fact that it allows the fundamentals of law as well as the claim of interdisciplinary teaching, which is not limited to the horizon of law, to come into effect in the dogmatic compulsory subjects.
