FB9 - Philologie (Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität (Münster))
Faculty 09 Philology is one of the two largest of a total of 15 departments of the University of Münster (WWU). He was born in the winter semester 1996/97 from the merger of several subject groups or smaller departments. With the exception of classical philology, Byzantine and neo-greek, as well as the Latin philology of the Middle Ages, which belong to the Department 08 history / philosophy, the Faculty 09 Philology covers all philological subjects of the WWU Münster. The subject spectrum of the department is neither limited in time nor regionally, its subjects of research extend over all cultural epochs and continents.
