FB 20: Medizin (Philipps-Universität Marburg)
The Medical Faculty at Phillips University Marburg offers the following courses:
- Human medicine (approx. 2,350 students)
- Dentistry (approx. 370 students)
- Human biology (approx. 285 students)
Since the winter semester of 2008/09, clinical instruction has been expanded by the Marburg Interdisciplinary Skills Lab (MarIS), in which basic medical skills (including physical examination techniques and communication skills) can be practiced.
Since the winter semester 2011/12 the MarIS has been in the Dr. Reinfried Pohl Center for Medical Education, which is the basis for a conceptually and spatially significantly expanded range of courses including the latest simulators.
