In addition, the preparatory college runs courses in which we prepare you linguistically and technically for a degree and for the assessment test :

• W course : Preparation for economic and social science courses

Your courses take place at the Konstanz University of Applied Sciences and you are taught by teachers and professors who also teach in the courses. If you attend the preparatory college, you will be enrolled at the university and, like all students, can use the library, the computer center and the other offers of the university

The preparatory college lasts two semesters and ends with the assessment test. With the degree you can apply to universities of applied sciences (HaW) throughout Germany and to universities in Baden-Württemberg.

If you have to attend the preparatory college, you have to take our entrance test. The entrance test takes place twice a year: at the end of January for the summer semester and at the beginning of July for the winter semester. We carry out two different entrance tests:

• W-course: Preparation for economics and social science courses
  Exam subjects German, mathematics, economics.

Duration of the exam: 60 minutes per part of the exam.

Selection: The 25 places per course are allocated according to the performance in the entrance test. You can start straight into the second semester of the preparatory college if you achieve very good results in all three subjects. There are currently fewer applicants for the W course than for the T course.

German
Knowledge of German: If you want to attend the preparatory college, you need good knowledge of German. You should also deal with the German language outside of the language course. Listen to the news in German, read the newspaper, write short texts to revise, use every opportunity to speak German.
Structure of the exam: The exam consists of three parts: There are two tasks to write and one task with fill-in-the-blank (60 gaps).

• In the gap text (from the second sentence) the second half is missing in every second word.
• The writing tasks are in the following formats: an interview, a text on statistical information or a report / statement.

Assessment of the test: The examiners read the texts and see whether you have mastered the grammar for the intermediate level (order in the sentence, sentence structure with subordinate clauses, active-passive, use of modal verbs, etc.). In addition, attention is paid to whether you can describe numbers, describe properties and developments, name reasons, consequences, advantages and disadvantages or make recommendations.

Mathematics
Anyone who wants to study must have a good knowledge of mathematics. We prepare you specifically for your studies in the preparatory college, but don't start with mathematics at the basic level. You need prior knowledge. The entrance test checks whether you have the previous knowledge you need to successfully attend the preparatory college.
Do some basic math. You should be able to calculate with fractions, powers, roots and logarithms. You should be able to solve equations and inequalities.
The material that is checked in the entrance test is based on the material plan of the video-based interactive preliminary course VIAMINT . The following modules from the Mathematics section are required in the entrance test:
- Fractional calculation
- Tool box
- Powers and roots
- logarithms
- Equations and inequalities
- Systems of linear equations
You can use the formulary during the exam. You will receive this collection of formulas during the exam. You don't need to print out the formulary.

Economics

The admission test in the subject of economics relates to your general education and your interest in current economic events. You are applying for a place in the course to prepare for economics and social sciences and should therefore have read articles in the business section of the newspaper before. It is also important that you can solve simple tasks that are explained in a text arithmetically. After all, you should understand and interpret data. Economic expertise (e.g. how much is the contribution to founding a GmbH?) Is not expected.

Выпускные экзамены включают, в том числе:

Обучение бесплатно. Как правило взимается только семестровый сбор соответветствующего вуза.
