German entrance examination:

The exam takes 60 minutes.
It consists of tasks on reading comprehension, language structures and, if necessary, text production. The test is intended to demonstrate good intermediate level knowledge (level B2 according to the common European framework of reference for languages ​​- independent use of language) in German. This knowledge can be acquired in about 600-800 hours of intensive tuition.
Aids, e.g. B. dictionaries, verb tables etc. are not allowed.

Entrance exam mathematics

The exam takes 45 minutes.

The use of a calculator is permitted for the mathematics entrance examination. Not permitted are graphics-capable pocket calculators (GTR), pocket calculators with typical functions of a computer algebra system (CAS), pocket calculators with the ability to transfer data and programmable pocket calculators (a pocket calculator is considered to be programmable if additional functions do not belong to the original scope of functions Routines can be saved). There are no objections if the pocket calculator provides physical constants (e.g. numerical value for the speed of light). A pocket calculator often used at the preparatory college is the Casio fx-87DE plus pocket calculator. The students at the preparatory college complete their study preparation with an exam that takes place at the end of the second semester. In this so-called assessment test (FSP), the students prove that they meet the linguistic and technical requirements for the study they are aiming for at a university of applied sciences.

Examination subjects are all subjects of the respective course at the preparatory college. The exam is divided into a written and an oral exam.

The examination dates and the issuing of certificates are based on the application deadlines for the Bavarian universities of applied sciences / universities of applied sciences.
