In terms of the structure and content of the new degree programmes, current academic key skills and new didactic insights have been taken into consideration. In order to ensure our graduates are widely employable, all three of the Bachelor's programmes – Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering and Aerospace Engineering – are designed such that they focus on core competences and methodological knowledge. Their practical application is therefore orientated either towards traditional mechanical engineering or the specialist industries of automotive engineering and aerospace engineering.
However, given that all three Bachelor's programmes focus on the core competences of an engineer, graduates are guaranteed to be employable across all industries, particularly given that the methodological competences acquired largely apply to all industries.
The fundamental study programme in the first three semesters is followed by specialisation in aerospace topics in the fourth semester.
