The bachelor's degree in application-oriented intercultural linguistics does not qualify for a specific individual profession, but conveys basic knowledge and skills that are required in areas in which a very good command of foreign languages ​​and a practice-oriented application of language-related knowledge are important.

All kinds of intercultural activities can be considered as career opportunities, be it in the organizational, advisory or didactic area. Other options include professional activities in the editorial area, PR area, event area, public institutions, international organizations etc. - wherever specialists in foreign languages ​​and / or intercultural mediation are required. This also includes a professional activity abroad.

The area in which ANIS students work after their studies also depends on the students themselves: on the orientation of the course (which languages ​​are chosen), on the interests and activities of the student (which semesters abroad and internships are completed, which ones there were / are other activities before and during the course of studies as well as the commitment of the student (to form your own profile and look for your own field of work during your studies - for example through the compulsory elective area) and after your studies.

In addition, a master's degree can be connected to the bachelor's degree. In addition to the consecutive master’s program ANIS at the University of Augsburg, there are also other relevant consecutive / non-consecutive master’s programs at the University of Augsburg or other universities, whereby the individual admission requirements of the respective degree programs must be observed.
