The aim of the English-language master's degree program in Artificial Intelligence (MAI) is to train AI experts who are familiar with the corresponding algorithms, models and social challenges of AI and can develop and evaluate software systems with AI functionality. After completing their studies, graduates will be able to independently develop solutions for standard and individual AI systems, use innovative technologies in AI systems in industrial and non-industrial environments, and further specialize.

MAI is a consecutive, research-oriented master's degree program. The focus is on a deep scientific understanding of AI techniques. Since the use of AI in practice leads to significant changes in society, students take courses on AI ethics, law and the sociological consequences of AI in order to be able to responsibly shape the transformation process. The master's degree increases both the ability to work, as well as for further academic qualifications, especially for doctorates, and for lifelong learning.
