The degree programme takes a generalist approach and teaches the core elements of economic science and the key concepts of business management. Students are equipped with the skills to analyse complex interrelationships and develop their own solutions to business-related problems. Emphasis is placed on close contact with the teachers. During the Bachelor's programme, elective modules can be taken in various areas. Below you will find a short list - a complete and up-to-date overview can be found in the module handbook.
Business Administration e.g. accounting, bank and insurance management, entrepreneurship and financing, financial and actuarial mathematics, fundamentals of business taxation, management, marketing, organisation and personnel
Economics e.g. foreign trade, empirical economics, European competition policy, the economics of innovation, media economics, consumer policy, competition theory and policy
Other e.g. data analysis, modern Japan, tax legislation, economic history
To adequately reflect the international aspects of business, we also offer an extensive range of business language courses. In addition, the faculty has a close-knit international network of partner universities with which it maintains exchange programmes.
