The major in SCM addresses the relevant intra- and cross-company issues in seeking to solve the manifold challenges of global supply chain management. In the process, field-tested concepts as well as the latest scientific findings are conveyed in a practice-oriented way. Many modules are offered in the English language.

The major in Supply Chain Management is directed at future executives in, for example, the fields of business consultancy (strategic, operative and IT), product and project management, development, purchasing, logistics, production and services.

Учебный план программы обучения "Business Administration – Supply Chain Management"

The Master in Business Administration programme comprises 120 ECTS credits, lasts four terms as the standard period of study and consists of the following subject categories: the core and advanced section (18 ECTS credits) consists of basic method modules, chosen by the student. The specialisation section (48 ECTS credits) consists of modules for the respective major and the seminar. In the supplementary section (24 ECTS credits), students can choose from among a wide range of possibilities in the fields of management, economics and social sciences. The last area is the master’s thesis, carrying 30 ECTS credits.

The Business Administration with SCM programme looks at the in-company and cross-company topics that play a role in solving the manifold challenges involved in the management of global supply chains. Both proven approaches used in industry and the latest research findings are covered through content reflecting the real world. Many of the modules are delivered in English. The programme focuses on strategy development, logistics and production management, procurement, service management, in-company and cross-company planning, optimisation and controlling.
