The professional fields open to graduates of Computational Visualistics overlap to some extent with those of Computer Science. Over and above this, computational visualistics graduates work first and foremost in the field of media and entertainment (e.g. game development, CAD), in the automotive industry (e.g. simulation, virtual reality), in medical technology, in image information technology, and in research and development (for example in cooperation with biologists, neuroscientists, medical professionals and engineers).Учебный план программы обучения "Computational Visualistics"
This course is divided into core, mandatory and mandatory elective subjects. The core modules are attended by students on every course offered by the Faculty of Computer Science (e.g. mathematics, key and methodological competences). The mandatory area is tailored to each course, and the mandatory electives focus on the students’ specialisations. In addition, from the third semester, an additional, applied subject must be selected. This Bachelor’s degree course may be followed directly by the corresponding Master’s degree course.Applied subjects:- Image information technology

Otto von Guericke University MagdeburgThe Faculty of Computer Science offers a higher than average share of practical and application-oriented research and teaching priorities. As an engineering faculty, it covers all core areas of computer science. These include computer visualistics, business informatics and engineering computer science. Computer scientists are concerned with the systematic processing of information - computers are a tool and a medium for the practical implementation of theoretical concepts. As a key technology of the 21st century, it has great importance in research and teaching for all scientific disciplines. The research profile of the faculty is characterized by the three main areas of image, knowledge and interaction. A large number of current research projects are handled across faculties and can also be assigned to the main research areas of the university.
