Описание программы обучения "Data Science and Artificial Intelligence"
The six-semester Bachelor program "Data Science and Artificial Intelligence", which starts right here, started in the winter semester 2019/20.
The course is based on the cornerstones of data analysis and automation: from mathematics and statistics to machine learning, artificial intelligence, big data, data management, modeling and simulation or even data visualization.
Techniques from very different disciplines complement each other in order to analyze data, automate processes and construct and process models that enable autonomous action.

The study of the six-semester Bachelor's degree with the Bachelor of Science B.Sc. and a total output of 180 CP includes modules in the following areas:
- Compulsory modules from the area of mathematical foundations (27 CP)
- Compulsory modules from the area of the basics of computer science (39 CP)
- Compulsory modules from the specialized area of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (21 CP)
- Compulsory elective modules from the field of data science and artificial intelligence. These include core lectures (18 CP), advanced lectures (12 - 18 CP), seminars (7 CP) and project seminars (9 CP)
- a compulsory lecture series (2 CP)
- free elective area (at least 8 CP)
- Modules of an application subject (16 CP)
- Bachelor module with the Bachelor seminar (9 CP) and the Bachelor thesis (12 CP)
