Practical courses in laboratories of material technology, physics, data processing, production technology or working with engine test rigs are important components of the programme. The applied approach is supported by project studies that enable students to work under guidance of professors and together with companies on current operational problems. The degree programme “Engineering and Business” provides academic knowledge in the fields of Engineering and Business Administration. Students enhance sound knowledge in design and construction, computer science, electronic and electrical engineering, material technology, process and climate engineering, cost and investment management, marketing, law, taxes and HR management. Engineering theory will be applied in the modern, well equipped laboratories of our university. Social skills will be trained in small teams. Foreign language courses and other elective subjects prepare students for professional activities on the global market.
The regular period of study consists of seven semesters. The program requires good knowledge of Mathematics and Physics. It is divided into two modules. The introductory module covers two theoretical semesters. The second module includes four theoretical semesters and a practical semester. At the beginning of the sixth semester students will have to choose one field of study from the following list: Production and Logistics; Product Management; Automotive Engineering.
Several obligatory courses are held in German and English at the same time, students may well choose between one of the languages for their exams.
Study materials are available in both languages, exams taken in English will be especially mentioned in your diploma.
