Our MBA in European / Asian Management is specifically aimed at engineers, IT specialists and other non-business professionals who wish to develop their management and leadership skills while gaining a global perspective with a particular focus on doing business in and between Europe and Asia.


The program covers a wide range of topics, including e.g. B. Financial data analysis, agile project management, strategic management and business ethics and sustainability. It equips you with the tools you need to lead teams effectively, manage projects, and make informed business decisions. In addition, you can choose a specialization, which consists of two modules. This aims to deepen your understanding and knowledge and to help you achieve your professional goals. Our elective portfolio, which is updated annually, includes first-class electives such as leadership, blockchain, social media marketing, logistics, risk management, and entrepreneurship. In order to gain more practical experience in a professional business environment, students can also complete a 22-week internship in the third semester and acquire an additional 30 ECTS.

Our program emphasizes hands-on learning through trips abroad in major European hubs such as Luxembourg, company visits to key players in all industries and with an international presence, expert interviews, hands-on projects and much more. With small class sizes of approximately 25 students, you will engage in dynamic interactions with experienced faculty, guest lecturers, and classmates from around the world. The program culminates in a final project that applies the skills you've gained to a real-world business problem, often in collaboration with a company. The MBA course is designed to last three semesters. Semesters 1+2 include the event and exam phase of the course. The master's thesis is written in semester 3.
The revised and updated syllabus is subject to final approval by the Accreditation Board.

Leading & Communicating Across Cultures

This course is designed to equip you with the skills you need to lead and communicate effectively in a global environment. The principles of intercultural communication are discussed. You will learn how to master cultural challenges in order to achieve intercultural goals. The course includes case studies, simulations and real-world examples to provide hands-on experience.

Managing and Leading People Worldwide

This module focuses on human resource management, leadership development and building a business strategy that supports the organization's social and environmental goals. Through interactive discussions and real-world case studies, you will gain practical knowledge on how to align business strategies with CSR and HRM goals and achieve positive organizational and societal impact.

European/Asian Management I

This course will familiarize you with the unique challenges and opportunities faced by companies operating in Europe versus Asia and develop an understanding of the cultural and political differences that shape doing business. It provides you with a comprehensive overview of the global economy relevant to doing business in Europe and Asia and is intended to prepare you for management tasks in international companies.

Managing Technology and Global Operations

In this module, you will learn how to use data and analytics to optimize supply chain management, design and execute operational strategies, and understand the challenges and opportunities of digital transformation. With a focus on real-world case studies and hands-on exercises, this course provides students with the skills and knowledge needed to lead transformation efforts in their organizations.

Managing the Global Business Environment

This course covers key concepts in strategic management, marketing and international business law. You will learn to analyze market trends and develop effective marketing strategies, as well as understand the legal considerations associated with doing business globally. The course prepares you to make informed business decisions in a constantly evolving international marketplace.

Academic Writing / Master Thesis Seminar

This module focuses on developing the academic writing skills of students in the MBA program. Topics covered include choosing a research topic, conducting literature reviews, data collection and analysis, and communicating research results effectively. In addition, students are introduced to the APA citation style and learn how to properly integrate research into their writing - especially the master's thesis - and thereby avoid plagiarism.

The standard period of study is three semesters. It includes the theoretical study semesters and the examinations including the master's thesis. The extent of the degree required for successful completion is 90 credit points; if the practical semester is carried out, the extent of the degree is 120 credit points.
