The study program General Computer Science looks back on almost 50 years of success. It is characterized by an innovative study structure. After the joint undergraduate studies, you have the choice between the three specializations Software Engineering, Networks and IT Security or Robotics and Autonomous Systems. Your advantage: You will get to know all main topics during your basic studies and will decide in the 3rd semester for one of the three exciting specializations.

Specialization Software Engineering
You want to develop new IT systems and creatively implement your ideas? Get to know the process of software development as a whole. Modern software technologies form the basis of your studies to successfully design, model and realize complex IT systems.
Specialization Networks and IT Security
You want to shape the connected world and make it safer? The networking of computer systems offers immense possibilities and at the same time holds dangers that you know and master. The study around the core topics computer networks and IT security trains you as a sought-after IT security expert.
Specialization in Robotics and Autonomous Systems (from WS 2019/20)
Are you enthusiastic about trendsetting topics in robotics and autonomous systems? Technical systems such as autonomous driving, learning robots and networked production systems rely on informatics, which is increasingly using artificial intelligence methods.
Study Plus Computer Science
