A future-oriented degree and much more than just technical knowledge
Would you like to think outside the box and take a holistic look at international business administration? Then you are right with us! Our lecturers support you during your bachelor's degree in developing into a responsible business person who has essential soft skills, a broad cultural understanding and a strong personality. We are convinced: only those who think business administration holistically and include social developments, political, historical and international contexts will be successful.
Study bilingually or entirely in English
In order to arrive well anywhere in the world, you can complete the Bachelor International Business study program in the bilingual track (70% German/30% English) or in the English track (100% in English). Take your chances!
If you love the challenge of studying bilingually in German and English, you should choose the Bilingual Track. You will get to know technical terms in both languages and thus optimally prepare yourself for a future in both the German-speaking and the international economic area. Very good knowledge of German and English is required for this track.
In the English Track, you study entirely in English, so you should have excellent English skills for this track. Knowledge of German is not required. In lecture groups with students from all over the world, you develop your intercultural skills from the very first semester. The track offers international students without knowledge of German the opportunity to learn German as a foreign language and to familiarize themselves with the German-speaking culture.

A central part of your bachelor's degree in international business is the semester abroad at one of Munich Business School's more than 60 partner universities worldwide - in Europe or on another continent, regardless of whether you study in the bilingual or English track. France, USA, China, Australia or Mexico - the stay abroad remains an unforgettable time for all students, during which they make friends for life and gain their first experiences on international soil. Almost as a sideline, you expand your intercultural skills and foreign language skills. If you start your studies in September, you will complete the semester abroad in semester 4, if you start your studies in February in semester 6. The MBS International Center offers support and advice in choosing the right university.

An internship in retail or with a management consultancy? In Munich or Montreal? At least three ten-week company internships in Germany and abroad are an integral part of the course.
These intensive practical phases offer excellent opportunities to get to know different economic sectors and corporate cultures and to gain initial professional experience. Your business administration degree at MBS, together with the practice-oriented course formats and lecturers with practical experience, is consistently geared towards practical application.
Our Career Center will advise you in the planning phase and will also be at your side during the internship.

The Bachelor International Business is characterized by its compact structure. It comprises six or seven semesters plus a bachelor's thesis. In at least three internships in Germany and abroad and one or two semesters abroad, you will put your theoretical knowledge into practice and expand your international network.
Semester 1 - 3: Create the basis for your bachelor's degree in international management
During the first three semesters of the Bachelor International Business, you will learn the basics of business administration and corporate management, economics, financial accounting, investment and financing, and marketing. You will apply your newly acquired knowledge in workshops, project work, case studies and company excursions. You will also expand your digitization skills in this phase of your studies.
Language is the key: In the Languages section, you can choose between Chinese, Arabic, Russian, Spanish and French. Students starting in February can choose between Chinese or Spanish. Courses on the culture and business of your international focus are also on the program here.
Semester 4 - 6: Get to know the finesse of international business administration
In the second half of your studies, you choose two majors and individual electives, which you can use to deepen your academic knowledge and strengthen your personal profile. Your own start-up project is coming up, as well as events in the field of business development, corporate governance and business ethics.
