Программа обучения Mechanical Engineering

Программа обучения "Mechanical Engineering" в Technische Universität Dresden

Maschinenbau

Engineers are shaping the world of tomorrow. A world without machines is unimaginable. Eating, drinking, sleeping, clothing, driving, flying, transporting, making phone calls, writing, reading – in the 21st century, mechanical engineering has found its way into all areas of everyday life. The areas of application are more diverse than ever and the technologies are constantly developing. Topics such as automation, Industry 4.0 and digital networking are now just as much a part of mechanical engineering as the classic disciplines of development, design, production and operation of machines and systems. No new machine or system is created without information technologies. When using technology, it is no longer just about saving costs and time; aspects such as efficient energy and resource consumption are also in focus. Due to this constant change in the industry, interdisciplinary work is essential for mechanical engineers.

Карьерные перспективы по завершению программы обучения "Mechanical Engineering"

Graduates of this course of study have a wide range of employment opportunities, e.g. B. Construction and product development, factory and plant planning, production preparation and production, machine and plant maintenance, quality assurance, work design and industrial design, management and marketing. You also take on tasks in the public service or work as a self-employed person in an engineering office. Depending on the profile recommendation chosen, graduates can work as calculation engineers, e.g. B. for solid mechanics, fluid mechanics or thermodynamics, as a designer, operations engineer, in technology, as a production IT specialist or designer for general mechanical, apparatus and plant engineering as well as for such special industrial sectors as energy machinery, Machine tool or processing machine construction, automotive and conveyor technology, rail and aircraft technology, tool making, technical building equipment or textile and clothing technology.

Международный обмен по программе обучения "Mechanical Engineering"

Would you like to spend a semester abroad? Semesters abroad, internships or language courses – as a student you will definitely benefit from a stay abroad. You can improve your technical and language skills, make contacts, make friends, get to know other cultures and much more.

Учебный план программы обучения "Mechanical Engineering"

In the first four semesters, basic knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering is taught:
— Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
— Technical mechanics, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfer
— Construction theory, machine elements, manufacturing technology, materials technology
— Computer science, electrical engineering

In the second part of the course, the focus is on application-oriented knowledge transfer. Students can choose one of eight profile recommendations. Depending on the profile recommendation, the respective compulsory program in the 5th to 6th semester is supplemented by modules from compulsory elective areas, in some cases on a compulsory elective basis. During the semester, the bachelor's thesis is completed in the 6th semester.

The modules of the bachelor's degree program are identical to the modules of the diploma degree program in mechanical engineering up to and including the 4th semester. The bachelor's degree is therefore particularly suitable for students who want to move to another university at home or abroad after graduating. The bachelor's degree program also represents an alternative for a shortened course of study if you want to obtain your first professional qualification after just three years.
