Карьерные перспективы по завершению программы обучения "Mechatronics"

The International Master course "Mechatronics" prepares graduates for a wide range of job profiles in mechatronics engineering. They have a multifaceted knowledge of methods for interdisciplinary topics and can work in multiply areas, e.g. System Design, Intelligent Systems or Robotics.

Graduates may decide for direct entry into companies or to take up academic careers, e.g. Ph.D. studies, in universities or other research institutions. In companies they can take up jobs as specialists or subsequently qualify for demanding management tasks in the technical area (e.g. project, group, or team leader; R&D director).

The program is designed to be universal and allows graduates to work in a variety of different industrial sectors and with different projects.

A stay abroad is possible, especially in the 2nd or 3rd semester.

Учебный план программы обучения "Mechatronics"

All modules in the first semester are compulsory. This helps you, especially if you are from abroad, to familiarize yourselves with the university and culture.

Afterwards you can broadly personalize your studies due to the high number and variety of elective courses.

All compulsory and nearly all elective courses are In English.

Next to 30 Credit Points (CP) compulsory courses in the first semester, the second and third semester consists of:

36 CP elective courses
Nontechnical elective complementary courses (catalogue) (6 CP)
Complementary courses business and management (catalogue) (6CP)
as well as a student research project planned for the third semester (12 CP), which can also be done outside the university.

You write you final thesis (30 CP) In the fourth semester, either with an Institute or outside the university.

Mechanical engineering remains one of the disciplines on which Germany’s prosperity is based. Recent years have seen a radical transformation in this field. Today, mechanical engineering mainly involves integrating different systems from the fields of electrical engineering, computer science, and/or process and chemical engineering with traditional mechanical engineering systems in order to make competitive products. Moreover, the typical problems that engineers are called on to solve now demand not only technical know-how, but also economic, ecological and sociological skills, and teaching of these has been consolidated in the new Bachelor’s and Master’s programs.
