Описание программы обучения "Supply Chain Management"
The study programme gives you the best opportunity to learn not only further technical skills but also methodology expertise and social skills needed as a supply chain manager, thanks to the following: small groups, thereby enabling interactive classes; the latest teaching and learning concepts; maximum incorporation of case studies and field trips into the courses.
As a graduate, you will be able to apply your knowledge to solving practical problems within companies. This makes you ideally suited for a management role in SCM and logistics.

The study programme’s very first cohort were admitted in October 2009. Since these initial students graduated, we have been delighted and proud to observe the excellent career opportunities afforded to our graduates. Our early alumni start their careers in large companies as well as in medium-sized firms, spanning the industrial, trade, logistics services or consulting sectors. Many of them have acquired management positions within just a few years.

Учебный план программы обучения "Supply Chain Management"
The study programme contains six core subject-matter areas. The first core area is dedicated to conveying cross-company business management skills, therefore given the generic term “Supply chain management”.
The second core area, under the generic term “Logistics”, focuses on the teaching of planning methods in various areas of in-company logistics and at the interfaces to external logistics. In the third core area, “Utilisation of IT and technology”, skills are imparted in the use of special SCM software tools and technologies.
Students acquire knowledge of cost-accounting and controlling under the fourth area, “Supply chain controlling”.
Social and communication skills as well as management skills make up the fifth core area, “Management, social and leadership skills.”
The sixth and final area, “Academic research”, consists of project work and the completion of a Master’s thesis with accompanying viva voce examination. In addition to the Master’s thesis, the business simulation exercise is one of the cooperative modules of the course. It plays a central role in students combining theory and practice.
