Every summer, the Humboldt-Institut Cologne hosts immersive German courses designed for 14–18-year-olds. From Monday to Friday, students engage in 30 dynamic lessons per week in small, age-appropriate groups. Tailored lesson plans and a strong emphasis on speaking skills keep every teen motivated and participating actively.
All summer programs are delivered as an all-inclusive package: accommodation, full board dining, supervised daily leisure activities, and guided excursions are provided for a seamless language immersion experience.

Our day of arrival is the Sunday before the course starts and the departure day is the Saturday after the end of the course.

Students reside at the Cologne City Hostel in Deutz, located on the eastern bank of the Rhine just opposite the main train station and within view of the iconic Cologne Cathedral. The program centre offers modern, high-quality amenities in a peaceful yet central setting.
German instruction takes place in the hostel’s bright, well-equipped seminar rooms. Courses are available from A1 through B2, welcoming both total beginners and advanced learners.
