Financial brokers provide financial services. They advise private individuals or business customers on investments, loans or insurance transactions.

Responsibilities

In discussions with customers, financial brokers determine the investment goals, risk tolerance and financial circumstances of the customers, e.g. also with regard to tax burden, loans to be serviced or current insurance. They advise on investment opportunities for wealth creation, on the financing of construction projects or insurance, e.g. for retirement provision, explain the advantages and disadvantages of financial products and develop tailor-made solutions. On behalf of their customers, financial brokers conclude contracts with the relevant companies and institutions. However, they remain the customer's contact person for questions about the respective financial or insurance products.
