Department of Physics Engineering Münster University of Applied Sciences
Fachbereich Physikingenieurwesen (Fachhochschule Münster)
Münster University of Applied Sciences
Life science, medical technology, optical technologies and laser technology - all of this is based on basic physical principles. These are imparted in the physics engineering department and make you fit for a successful professional life.
More details about Department of Physics Engineering:
We use the implementation of physical knowledge in all areas of our daily life. An example that has become an integral part of our lives - the smartphone. The engineering implementation of physical knowledge enables the production of microchips and communication via satellite transmission. In medicine, diseases can be detected much earlier because imaging analysis methods such as computer and magnetic resonance tomography have been developed. Even minimally invasive surgery and the control of prostheses with sensors would not be possible without the engineering implementation of physical knowledge.
In our courses of study, you gain in-depth knowledge of physics as well as interdisciplinary methods from the fields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and computer science. You will acquire valuable practical skills by applying what you have learned in many internships. With this broad-based training, you will receive a key knowledge that will open the doors to many interesting jobs and enable you to master the future technological challenges of industry, energy supply, environmental technologies and life science.
