Profile

Our job is to prepare international applicants for a degree at a university in Saxony. The students are the focus of our efforts in order to offer them both interdisciplinary and subject-specific language support and to facilitate the start of a successful course of study. This core idea is also reflected in the history of our college.

Our range of services

At the preparatory college, we mainly look after international applicants in specialized courses or in a DSH course. The DSH course prepares you for the German language test for university admission (DSH) and is subject to a fee. In the specialization courses, international applicants prepare for taking the assessment test depending on the desired field of study. These courses last two semesters and are free of charge.

Students who have successfully passed the assessment test or the German language test for university admission at the end of a winter semester can take part in a Propädeutikum in the following summer semester.

In addition, there are courses for students at Leipzig University as part of the Deutsch im Studium . You will also be offered module courses on cross-faculty key qualifications.
