G for humanities! Our G course prepares you for the assessment test for humanities, social sciences and art courses. These include courses such as German studies, journalism, law, history, literature and art and design.
In the G-Course you will be prepared for the demanding assessment test in two semesters. The assessment test (abbr. FSP) takes place at the district government of Cologne and includes a written and an oral part. It takes place twice a year in May and November.
Foreign applicants who have to attend a preparatory college in Germany and want to study in the humanities, social sciences and cultural studies. The G-course offers the necessary preparation for the assessment test (FSP) in the subjects German, German literature, history and social sciences.
You should already have the B1/B2 level in German; prior knowledge of German C1 is also advantageous.
If you have completed the G course at the Düsseldorf preparatory college and have successfully passed the Feststellungsprüfung (FSP) , you have the option of studying the following courses at German universities, for example:
