Business and social science courses, such as B. Economics and business administration are assigned to the W course.
The courses take place on the premises of the Philipps University of Marburg and the Technical University of Central Hesse in Gießen. As a rule, the M and T courses take place on the premises of the Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen in Gießen; for the W and G courses this will be decided at short notice
The training in the specialist courses of the preparatory college usually lasts one year (= 2 semesters). After successfully completing the 1st semester at the preparatory college, students are admitted to the 2nd semester. It is possible to repeat the 1st semester if the knowledge is not sufficient for attending the 2nd semester. The assessment test (FSP) takes place at the end of the second semester. Those who fail this exam can repeat the second semester again. You can only repeat once every semester. Applicants with good previous knowledge can take the assessment test after one semester.
As a student at the preparatory college, you are obliged to be present during the entire course and to take part in the regular (written and oral) performance assessments.
