Das weiterführende Studienfach Astrophysik vertieft die im grundständigen Studienfach und ggf. während einer Berufstätigkeit erworbenen Kenntnisse, z.B. in Astronomie oder Fortgeschrittener Physik. Eine schwerpunktmäßige experimentelle oder theoretische Ausrichtung ist möglich.
Das Studium führt zu einem zweiten berufsqualifizierenden Hochschulabschluss.
Astrophysik kann man auch im Rahmen von Teilzeitstudiengängen studieren.
