Music:
Very good knowledge of music, music history and music theory as well as enthusiasm for making music are essential for the course. As a rule, proof of relevant prior knowledge must be provided.
Italian, French, Latin, English:
Italian is still considered the language of music. When studying international sources, knowledge of not only English is helpful, but also French or another modern foreign language. Latin is particularly useful for reading historical or ecclesiastical works or compositions.
