The faculty of Business Administration and Economics at the Heinrich Heine University (HHU) is one of the youngest and smallest university faculties in Germany in terms of the number of students and teaching staff. It has close ties to professional practice and maintains intensive contact with its foreign partner universities. The course is also accredited by the AQAS agency.
The degree programme takes a generalist approach and teaches the core elements of economic science and the key concepts of business management. Students are equipped with the skills to analyse complex interrelationships and develop their own solutions to business-related problems. Emphasis is placed on close contact with the teachers. In addition to business management knowledge, economic, statistical, mathematical and legal fundamentals are also developed.
