Business Computer Science

The business informatics program deals with the development and use of information and communication technologies in companies and in administration. The focus is on:

• the architecture of business computerized information systems
• the planning and organization, as well as the methods of system development including programming of applications
• the management of the resource "Information".

Information and communication systems are described as socio-technical ("human machine") systems. They are used for the purpose of optimally providing information and communication according to economic criteria.
