Graduate Winter Semester Summer Semester

Graduates of the Master's program in Chemistry possess a broad theoretical and practical foundation and relevant knowledge of materials and methods. They are able to address chemistry-related questions in a scientifically sound and critical manner, solve the challenges they face independently or in an interdisciplinary manner, and thus contribute responsibly to the further development of the discipline. At the same time, they are able to recognize the importance of connections to chemistry-related scientific fields and utilize them profitably. In addition to their subject-specific knowledge, they possess key career-relevant skills such as communication and teamwork skills, as well as effective project planning and work organization.

By obtaining the Master of Science degree, our graduates have a good starting point for further qualifications, particularly doctoral studies. This increases their chances of entering an independent and self-reliant career. Following our university's tradition, our faculty maintains contacts with leading chemical companies in Germany, specifically for your benefit.
