In the study program Bachelor of Science (BSc) Chemistry, the students are given a fundamental knowledge of chemical issues in the widest possible breadth as a basis for the continuing Master's programs. On the one hand, this includes the classical disciplines of inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry and physical chemistry, each of which includes a basic and an advanced module, but also analytical chemistry, biochemistry and theoretical chemistry. In most of the modules, in addition to theoretical events (lectures, seminars, exercises), chemical laboratory practicals are also provided in which the learned material is used in practical experiments. In addition, students acquire useful additional qualifications in the fields of toxicology, legal studies and other optional subjects for the profession of chemist.
