Undergraduate Winter Semester

It is impossible to imagine our everyday life without information technology. It plays a major role in all key technologies and is therefore a degree programme with excellent career prospects. Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences offers computer science in two dual variants. In addition to KITS, the Bachelor's programme offers the alternative KoSI (standard variant). During their studies, students are employed by an IT company.

In the cooperative degree programme IT Security (KITS), students learn to develop security measures for IT applications - not only for company networks, computer centres and the classic PC, but also for smartphones, tablets and the Internet. Thematically, the programme focuses on encryption, data protection and IT forensics.
