Economics can be studied at the University of Würzburg as a Bachelor's major or minor. As part of the Master's program, courses in Business Management, International Economic Policy (formerly Economics) and China Language and Economy and China Business and Economics are offered.

The bachelor's degree in economics provides a comprehensive overview of the various disciplines of business and economics and the underlying mathematical and theoretical methods. In this sense, the foundations, which are closely interlinked in a globalized world, are learned and a well-founded basic knowledge acquired. The students receive a comprehensive insight into central economic issues and their analysis. In addition, the transfer of practice elements, exchange programs, stays abroad and interdisciplinary events promote the interdisciplinary and international character of the degree program.
