Modern companies operate worldwide to sell their ideas, products and services. Technical products are at the forefront, because they improve the quality of life and drive progress. The division of labor within the companies was strictly separated for many decades: the engineers developed the technology, the merchants managed the finances. In view of ever shorter product cycles and increasingly fiercely competitive markets, experts are required who have both engineering and business knowledge.
