The course is run jointly by the engineering and economics departments at Koblenz University of Applied Sciences. In addition to the classic, specialist core competencies of an industrial engineer, such as e.g. Business administration, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering in particular also knowledge in the areas of computer-aided methods and applications. During their studies, the students set their individual focus in the field of business administration and engineering with the elective modules. In addition, modules such as scientific work techniques, negotiation / rhetoric, presentation techniques and conflict management provide valuable guidance for professional practice. The students benefit from good contact with the professors with diverse corporate experience and furthermore from the good integration of the course into a network of regional, national and international university and business contacts. All of this guarantees future-oriented, practical and professionally qualified training as a specialist and manager.
