Interested students can start the course "Intercultural Studies / Intercultural Studies" in Bayreuth, in the higher semesters the Intercultural Studies can be continued at the University of Chester or the Moscow Institute of Linguistics.

With a model curriculum for intercultural studies, the University of Bayreuth, in coordination with suitable partner universities, has developed the concept of an international double degree. The concept forms the strengths of two partner institutions into a range of courses that cannot be realized by one partner alone, but only through synergy in the international higher education area, i.e. in a contractual alliance. Students at each of the participating universities benefit from complementary profile fields of the partner institution, i.e. from study modules that are not offered at the university where the study started or only with a relatively low thematic development.
