International Economics focusing on Central and Eastern Europe

Regensburg University

Undergraduate Winter Semester

Economics teaches to examine and solve economic problems systematically and on a solid methodical basis, i.e. scientifically. While the individual company is at the center of interest in business administration, economics is about understanding the interaction of individuals and companies, explaining the overall economic situation and assessing the scope of economic policy.
The International Economics (IVWL) is primarily aimed at those students who are particularly interested in the economic relations between Germany and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. In addition to economic competence, language skills are also taught in Central or Eastern European languages. The region-specific view beyond economics in either history and cultural studies or political science or law also optimally prepares for a truly international task.
