In the “Clinical Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience” master’s degree, knowledge and skills are imparted that qualify for a wide range of psychological fields of activity in research, counseling centers, clinics and psychological services. The master’s course is designed in such a way that the (current) entry requirements for psychotherapist training are met.
The students should be taught in an interdisciplinary manner to overlook (psychological) relationships and to assess them critically and to apply scientific methods and findings independently. The students should be given in-depth specialist knowledge in the areas of clinical psychology, clinical neuropsychology and neurocognitive psychology, which enable them to work independently in these areas according to scientific principles and to apply scientific methods and findings.
