The international Master’s degree in Web and Data Science is the first of its kind in Germany and is aimed at prospective students who want to expand their scientific skills, sharpen their qualifications for management positions through profile building and advance their personal development after a successful Bachelor’s degree.
In addition to the expansion of specialist knowledge, the course therefore primarily promotes independence and the ability to make judgments and make decisions.
The course focuses on computer science in order to impart basic knowledge about the technical structures of the web and its analysis as well as the analysis of its changes. This is supplemented by interdisciplinary content that enables students to understand people on the web, their actions and their interactions. The course is largely in English, some elective modules can also be taken in German.
