Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Collaboration in the support and advice of a permanent customer base of German and international primary and reinsurance companies
  • Conceptualization, presentation and implementation of tailor-made reinsurance and retrocession concepts
  • Contract negotiations on reinsurance terms with global reinsurers in cooperation with international Aon colleagues
  • Collaboration in the expansion of customer relationships and the acquisition of new customers
  • Holistic advice on all questions of risk management
  • Participation in strategic national and international (special) projects

Requirements and expectations

  • Successfully completed degree in economics (e.g. business administration, economics or a comparable course of study) or completed commercial training (e.g. as a merchant for insurance and financial investments)
  • 3-5 years of professional experience with a consultant, in client management or in the insurance environment
  • Fluent German and very good written and spoken English
  • Good IT skills (especially PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
  • Approach appropriate to the target audience, even at board level
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Commitment, ability to work in a team, initiative and sense of responsibility
